I’m not totally comfortable with it yet. It literally feels a bit too risky when it comes to my personal data, so I’m still on the fence

"Pretty much syncs across my stuff"
It, like, keeps up with my laptop and phone well overall. There are a few little sync delays here and there, but it’s not a huge deal for me.

"I got way more done today than I..."
I got way more done today than I expected, and I blame whoever runs this because the focus sessions actually kept me on track. Kind of annoying how well it worked

"Dashboard is easy to follow"
The dashboard is clear overall. I mean, I didn’t have to dig around much... everything was easy to read and understand.

I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the privacy settings are to manage. Everything feels clear and straightforward, and it’s nice to actually feel in control of what I’m sharing. Really appreciate that!

"Finally saw where my time was disappearing"
I started using RescueTime because I kept getting to the end of the day feeling like my hours had somehow been taken from me. I’d be exhausted but still wondering what I even got done. After about a week, it was kind of annoying to see how much time email and random websites were stealing from me without me realizing it.
The reports are easy to understand, and the daily score helps me catch my bad habits without making me feel worse than I already do. It’s not some miracle fix, but it did help me change my mornings and block a few distractions that were basically setting me up to fail. Overall, it’s been useful for staying focused.

"The reports are actually useful"
I mostly use RescueTime for the reports, honestly. It’s kind of nice being able to see where my time is actually going instead of, you know... just guessing. Some of the categories need a little fixing now and then, but overall it’s helped me spot a few bad habits and plan my week a bit better.

"Account settings felt a bit confusing"
I was trying to change my plan, and I’m sure I followed the right steps, but it still took longer than I expected. The account settings aren’t awful or anything, just a little confusing in places.

"It keeps my day organized better than I do"
This does a solid job of categorizing my day for me. i’m the one who gets lazy about sorting things manually, so it’s nice having something that takes care of that without me having to think about it

"Helpful for tracking my time, but I wish the issues were taken more seriously"
I mostly use RescueTime on my phone, and overall it’s been helpful for seeing where my time actually goes. The reports are useful and made me realize just how much I end up scrolling without thinking about it. That said, the app can be a little slow to update sometimes, and when I’ve looked for answers it kind of feels like that concern gets brushed off. I still like using it, but I do wish that part felt a bit more addressed.

"I started using RescueTime with browser tracking turned..."
I started using RescueTime with browser tracking turned on because I was genuinely curious where my hours were going during the day. I work from home most of the time, usually with coffee going cold next to my keyboard, and I had a feeling I was losing more time than I realized.
It’s been eye opening. It picked up the random news tabs, the “quick” YouTube breaks that somehow turn into 18 minutes, and all the time I spend bouncing between docs and email without me having to manually log anything. The reports are simple enough that I actually look at them at the end of the day, usually right before I shut my laptop and feed the dog.
It’s not perfect, since a few sites needed re-labeling, and it occasionally guesses wrong about what’s productive. But overall it’s been really useful and has made me more aware of my habits without feeling too annoying. I like it a lot.

"Super easy to set up"
I just installed rescuetime recently, so this is what’s standing out to me right now: the setup was basically effortless. It took maybe 5 minutes, and once it was installed, it just started tracking on its own without me digging through a bunch of settings. So far, I’m impressed with how easy it was to get going.

"The reminders save me from myself"
I’m the one who tends to lose focus and drift off, so the alerts actually make a difference. They snap me back before I waste too much time.

"Worth the price for me"
I wasn’t totally sure about paying for rescuetime at first, but it’s been worth it for me. It gives me a clear picture of where my time is actually going, and it’s helped me cut down on a lot of avoidable time-wasting. The price feels fair for what I’m getting, and so far I don’t regret it...

"Goal tracking that genuinely keeps me on track"
I’ve been using rescuetime mainly for the goal tracking, it’s been really helpful. It gives me a clear picture of when I’m starting to drift into distractions, so I can catch it and adjust my day before it gets away from me. It’s simple, easy to trust, and doesn’t feel like another thing I have to manage. For me, it’s made staying focused a lot more natural

"I do like RescueTime for the most part..."
I do like RescueTime for the most part, but the weekly summaries are a little hit or miss for me. They show the basic stuff and sometimes I’ll catch a bad habit I didn’t notice, which is useful. But a lot of weeks it feels generic, like it’s just repeating numbers without really explaining what I should take away from them. Also, some of the tracking categories and rules feel like they leave room for weird policy loopholes, where certain sites or activities don’t get counted the way you’d expect. It’s not bad, but for the price I wish the summaries were clearer and a bit more helpful.

"Helped me spot where my time was going"
I’ll be honest, right after I paid I got a little suspicious and wondered if I’d just wasted my money. But after using it for about a week, I started noticing where my time was leaking during the day, and my focus did get better. It’s not perfect, but it’s been useful so far.
"I’ve been using the distraction blocking and..."
I’ve been using the distraction blocking and, it’s way more helpful than I expected. I’ll turn it on thinking I just need to focus for a bit, and then suddenly Reddit and all those random sites I open without even thinking are just… not there to pull me in. Which is good, because otherwise I blink and somehow an entire afternoon is gone. It’s simple, but it really does help me stop wasting time.

"RescueTime was easy to get going, and..."
RescueTime was easy to get going, and I liked that it just started tracking without me doing much. Some parts were a little confusing though, especially finding certain reports or settings. I figured it out eventually. Overall it’s decent, just could be easier to use day to day.

"I’m on the free plan, it does feel..."
I’m on the free plan, it does feel like you hit the limits fast, which is kind of frustrating if you’re just trying to get organized without paying for yet another thing. But to be fair, it still helps me see where my time is going. It’s simple to check, doesn’t make things complicated, and for basic tracking, it does the job well enough.
